The
Resilient Modulus Triaxial Cell has been designed to facilitate
Resilient Modulus testing of aggregate and soil materials.
The innovative design allows the acrylic chamber to be removed
over the top of the cell allowing the operator ease loading piston
and attachment of deformation equipment directly to the test specimen.
Other features include:
Comes ready to test 6x12-in test specimen
Loading Piston 1-½-in stainless steel piston
Mounting bracket for two displacement transducers
Platens of 316 stainless steel
Acrylic chamber with SS bands for 40 psi pressure
Optional provisions for 150 psi confining pressure
Base equipped for dual ports to each platen
A double slide plate that both fixes the
piston to the upper platen, while facilitating alignment.
The piston transfers the axial force through a spherical seat.
Provisions
have been made to mount dual displacement transducers to
the
axial piston. A latching system allows quick assembly of
the head plate
and tie rods to the base plate.
