Permeant Interface Device
The Durham Geo Permeant Interface Device is used in permeability testing when a corrosive fluid is used as the permeant. It is installed between the Permeability Cell and the S-500 Panel. It incorporates a flexible bladder to prevent the permeant from entering the Panel or escaping into
the atmosphere. It eliminates the possibility of compressed air
dissolving into the permeant. All liquid contacting parts are made
from 316 stainless steel, Teflon® or the interface bladder
membrane. The Permeant Interface Device is supplied with both a
Buna-N and Viton Membrane. The internal cylinder has a diameter
of 2 in (51 mm).
