The
Durham-Geo Deairing Water Tank was designed to work with the S-500
Triaxial/Permeability Panel. The chamber is 6 in in diameter by
16 in high (15.2 x 40.6 cm) and is made from clear, cast acrylic.
The head and base are anodized aluminum and are connected by stainless
steel tie rods. The head has two fittings, one to allow a tube
to pass through to the bottom of the chamber for filling and extracting,
the other to allow connection to a vacuum or pressure source.
