Direct Shear Testing

Measurement of stress induced failure in soil specimens by application of a strain at a shear plane is accomplished with this equipment. Two systems are available. One applies vertical dead weight loading with weights. The second system uses a pneumatic air cell to apply the vertical load to the specimen.
