Hand Operated Load Frame
Designed for both field and soil laboratory CBR/LBR studies. The Hand Operated CBR /LBR Load Frame will apply up to 10,000 lbf (45 kN) of force at a steady rate. It uses a hand operated mechanical screw-type jack with a three speed action. The Load Frame includes the penetration piston but not the S-Type Load Cell or Digital Readout shown in the illustration.
