Applicable Standards: ASTM: D 638 tensile, D 882 tensile (pvc), D 1004 tear, D 4533 trapezoidal tear, D 4632 grab (textile), D 413 modified peel, D 4437 shear, D 3083 shear

The five-station tensiometer is a high-throughput tester for determining tensile and seam strengths of various geo-synthetics, geotextiles, plastics, fabrics, fibers and other materials. It performs ASTM destructive tensile, shear and peel testing on up to five samples simultaneously.

Typical set-up.Table and desk are extra.

Interchangeable pneumatic grips allow quick mounting of up to five samples. Each sample is tested independently. A computer records data for each test. Test data can be edited, tabulated, graphed or customized to the user’s needs and printed or stored.

The tensiometer provides a maximum load of 1000 lbf per station and has a crosshead speed of 1 to 20 inches per minute. It is available for 110 and 240v AC power.
