The cast Aluminum Base provides a sturdy working
surface to perform the slump test. Benched clamps slide over the
foot wings on the slump cone to hold it securely while filling and
rodding. The octagon shaped base is 15 in (38 cm) across.
The Tamping Rod, C-352, is used to connect the Aluminum Base to
the Slump Cone during transport. It is slipped through holes in
the handle and flange of the base to provide stability.
