The Rebar and Cover Analyzer
is a microprocessor controlled rebar locator, size detector and
cover depth recorder. It will detect rebar cover to a maximum depth
of 12 in (30cm) and bar size to an 8 in (20.3cm) depth.
The Analyzer has a 2 x 16 character display on the control module
and an analog meter on the probe. It can store 1000 cover readings
for later downloading to a PC. Calibration is available in U.S.
and metric sizes.
Fast scanning of large areas may be enhanced by using headphones.
It may also be set to react to any rebar within that value, ignoring
those outside the range. The Analyzer operates on internal rechargeable
batteries and is supplied with a recharger and a carrying case.
