| Measurement
of the corrosion rate of steel reinforcement in concrete 
and several
related parameters are easily done with
the Corrosion Parameter
Analyzer.
Corrosion rate measurement time is 2-5 minutes and up to 100 readings
can be stored in teh memory for later downloading to a PC.
The instrument comprises two sensors, a 100 ft (30 m)
connecting cable, the Analyzer, a verification box, RS-232 interface
cable with communication software and a carrying case.
Sensor A is a 7 in (17.8 cm) circular, flat, multiple electrode
sensor that 
will allow measurement of corrosion rate by the polarization
resistance technique. This sensor will also measure half cell corrosion
potential, concrete resistance.
Sensor B is a hand held multiple sensor probe which will measure
concrete resistivity, capacitance relative humidity
(3 to 95%) and
temperature (-10 to 800C). The instrument will store 100 complete
readings with time, date and location code for later downloading
to a PC.
