Tests in-place compressive strength within a range of 1500 to 8,000 psi (10 - 55 MPa). The hammer is placed on the test surface and impact force is released.

The rebound value is noted and compared to a supplied table. Set includes hammer, rubbing stone, plastic case, instructions and calibration curves.
