DGSI Cube Test Sand is used to prepare mortar specimens for strength testing. It is specially graded to ASTM and AASHTO specifications to retain:

• 2% on #30 sieve
• 72% on #50 sieve
• 98% on #100 sieve

It is supplied in a 50 lb (22.7 kg) bag.

DGSI Tensile Sand is used for standardizing mortar for tensile strength testing. It is specially graded to pass a #20 sieve, be retained on a #30 sieve and have a specific gravity of 2.65.
