AASHTO T 245
Used for loading cylindrical asphalt
samples for Marshall stability. Upper and
lower cylindrical sections have a 2 and
3 in radius, respectively, for 4-in and 6 in
Marshall test specimens. Lower section is
mounted on base which has two vertical
guide rods for aligning the upper half.
Plated for rust resistance. Loading button
of hardened steel to maintain radius.
