Aggregates > Test SievesSieve Certification and VerificationMany of our customers have entered into a comprehensive, documented quality system for their business including field and laboratory equipment and procedures. In respect to particle size analysis, each of our sieves includes a Certificate of Compliance stating that the accompanying sieve was manufactured to the relevant specifications of ASTM, ANSI and ISO. The certification contains a serial number that also appears on the body of the sieve. The next level of quality assurance allows for individual sieves to be verified against ASTM Standard E-11 (Specification for Wire-Cloth Sieves for Testing Purposes). Durham Geo can provide you with sieves that have been individually analysed by a computerized image scanner that measures the x and y dimensions of individual openings as well as the wire diameter. Hundreds of such readings are taken each second and a report is generated to provide a statistical comparison with each facet of ASTM E-11.
