The operating system for the Pocket PC must be either:
- Microsoft Pocket PC v.4.20 or newer, or
- Windows® Mobile 2003 or newer.

In addition, the unit must have both a Flash Card slot and an SD Card slot.

Note: Palm operating systems are not compatible with the M+DI software.
