SEP IV Electric Pump SystemHigher flows in ground water recovery.Application:
DescriptionThe SEP IV Pump System consists of: The SEP IV is a continuous-duty electric submersible pump designed for the withdrawal of contaminated groundwater or leachate in environmental applications. The pumps require a control mechanism such as the Septek to maintain the desired drawdown level.
The SEP IV pump ends are constructed of 304 stainless steel to provide chemical compatibility for typical environmental installations. Standard pump ends are supplied with durable PBT (polybutylene terephtalate) seals for chemical resistance in most cases. PBT seals are not recommended for use with chlorinated sovants in which case Teflon® seals are recommended. PBT seals generally provide better wear resistance than Teflon®. The SEP IV pumps are available in eighteen models, producing flow rates up to 75 gpm and to depths up to 400 feet. Other pump ends are available.
Motor leads are 12-gauge wire with either two- or three-wire leads plus the ground. A great variety of choices are offered. Please consult the catalog pages (PDF 800 KB). Options > SepTek mechanical down-well controller — an
